Juttusarjassa Rovaniemeltä poismuuttaneet kertovat kuulumisiaan sähköpostin välityksellä. Tällä kertaa toimituksen antamia lauseen alkuja jatkaa yrittäjäksi vastikään ryhtynyt Ukko Liikkanen.

Asun... Nakiwogossa Ugandassa. Aloitamme rakentamaan lomakylää toiselle puolelle lahtea Buwayaan.

Juureni... ovat silti Rovaniemellä, ja pysyvät. Tänäänkin olen kertonut jo useammalle paikalliselle, että täällä ei ole oikeasti kylmä, vaikka onkin pilvistä.

Tavoitteeni on... rakentaa kannattava safari- ja majoitusyritys Ugandaan, suututtamatta ihmisiä tai eläimiä.

Perheeni... pitää minua pöljänä, mutta he rohkaisevat minua siitä huolimatta.

Matkustan... niin paljon kun ikinä pystyn, ja otin varmuuden vuoksi myös lumilaudan mukaan Ugandaan.

Päädyin... tänne oikeastaan puolivahingossa, vuoristogorilloita seuraten.

Vahvuuteni... on rehellisyys ja tasa-arvoinen maailmankatsomus.

Heikkouteni... on rehellisyys ja liiallinen empatia.

Ammatillisesti... tiedän, että pystyn tarjoamaan parempia palveluita halvemmalla kuin kilpailijamme.

Rovaniemeläisenä... tiedän pärjääväni maailmalla ihmisten kanssa, niin kiireessä kuin ilman turhaa hosumista.

Eniten kaipaan Rovaniemeltä... Ounasvaaraa, jokea, kunnon talvia ja Rio Grandea.

Rovaniemi on muuttunut... kansainväliseen suuntaan paikallisin voimin, ja pidän siitä.

Hienointa rovaniemeläisyydessä... on suora ja rehellinen suhtautuminen kanssaihmisiin, niin hyvässä kuin pahassa.

Arvostan Rovaniemen... ihmisiä, kaupunkia, yrityksiä, toimivaa infrastruktuuria, kaunista luontoa ja kahdeksaa vuodenaikaa enemmän kuin osasin ikinä paikan päällä tehdä.
