Metsäliitto Osuuskunnan edustajisto päätti 3.5.2016 pitämässään varsinaisessa kokouksessa omistajajäsenten osuuspääomille maksettavista osuuskoroista. Metsäliitto Osuuskunta maksaa jäsenen sijoittamille sääntömääräisille perusosuuksille vuoden 2015 tuloksen perusteella korkoa 6,0 prosenttia (vuodelta 2014: 5,5 prosenttia). A-lisäosuuspääomalle maksetaan korkoa 5,5 prosenttia (5,0) ja B-lisäosuuspääomalle 3,0 prosenttia (4,5).

Korkopäätös vastaa omistajastrategiassa määriteltyä korkopolitiikkaa. Tavanomaista korkeampi voitonjaon taso perusosuuksille ja A-lisäosuuksille heijastaa konsernin tuloskehitystä ja vahvistaa aktiivista puukauppaa käyvien jäsenten palkitsemista. B-lisäosuuden korko on suhteutettu yleiseen korkotasoon.

Osuuskorot maksetaan jäsenille 10.5.2016. Korkoa maksetaan vuodelta 2015 yhteensä 50,4 miljoonaa euroa (45,7). Maksettava summa vastaa lähes viittä euroa jokaista jäseneltä 2015 vastaanotettua puukuutiometriä kohti.

Hallintoneuvoston erovuoroisista jäsenistä uudelleen valittiin maanviljelijä Antti Jäärni Simosta, maanviljelijä Petri Kuutti Kouvolasta, agrologi Timo Kässi Uuraisilta, agronomi Jari Laineenoja Huittisista, maanviljelijä Jukka Lappalainen Pielavedeltä, MMM, agronomi Jussi Linnaranta Kuopiosta, maanviljelijä Mårten Malmström Espoosta, maanviljelijä Antti-Jussi Mikkola Pälkäneeltä, maanviljelijä Mikko Tolonen Suomussalmelta ja maanviljelijä Jukka Vanhatalo Siikaisista.

Metsäpalveluyrittäjä Jukka-Pekka Vapaniemen tilalle valittiin maanviljelijä Anders Wasström Raaseporista.

Hallintoneuvosto valitsi järjestäytymiskokouksessaan puheenjohtajakseen agronomi Hannu Järvisen ja varapuheenjohtajakseen maa- ja metsätalousyrittäjä Juha Paajasen.
