Vakuutuksen kohteena ovat henkilö- ja pakettiautohin kiinteästi asennetut ajoneuvon käyttötarkoitukseen olennaisesti liittyvät lisävarusteet. Vakuutuksen kohteena ovat myös yksi talvi- tai kesärengaskerta koskien ajoneuvoja joille on säädetty talvirengasvelvollisuus.

Musiikkilaitteisto sekä muut jälkiasennetut elektroniset laitteet (kuten navigaattori, dvd, jne) ovat kuitenkin vakuutuksen kohteena enintään 1000 euron määrään asti, sisältäen asennustyöt. Rajoitus (1000 euroa) ei koske tehdasasennettuja integroituja laitteita. Tätä kalliimmat laitteistot voidaan vakuuttaa lisämaksua vastaan.

Vakio- ja lisävarusteet ovat vakuutuksen kohteena niiden ollessa itse ajoneuvossa. Palo- ja varkausvahingot korvataan myös varusteiden ollessa säilytettävinä ajoneuvosta erillään olevassa säilytyssuojassa.

Vakuutus on voimassa kaikkialla Euroopassa, paitsi

-oikeusturvavakuutus
-palo- ja varkausvakuutukseen sisältyvä autopalveluvakuutus joka on voimassa vain Suomessa, Norjassa, Ruotsissa ja Tanskassa.

Vakuutus on voimassa myös näiden maiden välisessä kuljetuksessa.

Vahinkoihin, jotka ovat sattuneet Venäjällä, Valkovenäjällä, Ukrainassa tai Moldovassa sovelletaan nelinkertaista omavastuuta, kuitenkin vähintään 25 % vahingon määrästä.
