Suomen on tuettava uusiutuvan energian osuuden nostamista unionin alueelle esitettyyn 27 prosenttiin, kenties 30 prosenttiin. Tähän pääsemiseksi jäsenmaille on osoitettava sitovat maakohtaiset osuudet.
