Biotuotetehtaan suurin merkitys syntyy sen tuotantovaiheessa kolmen vuosikymmenen ajan, jolloin Etlan laskelmien mukaan tehdas tuottaa arvonlisää Suomeen lähes 12 miljardia euroa. Itse uskon vahvasti siihen että pienissä ja keksisuurissa yrityksissä on kasvuvaraa, ja varsinkin nousussa olevan biotalouden yrityksissä.
