Metsä Group nostaa omistajajäsenilleen puukaupasta maksettavien bonusten määrää jopa 75 prosenttia. Bonusta kertyy nyt myös metsänhoitopalveluiden ostosta.

Joulukuun alusta käyttöön otettava uudistettu bonusjärjestelmä nostaa huomattavasti puukaupasta maksettavien bonusten määrää. Uutta on se, että tästä eteenpäin myös metsänhoitopalveluiden käytöstä saa bonusta.

Metsä Group maksaa puukaupan yhteydessä sovitun hinnan päälle Metsäliitto Osuuskunnan jäsenille bonusta 0,3–1,4 euroa puukuutiometriä kohden. Bonusta alkaa kertyä, kun myy Metsä Groupille puuta neljän vuoden aikana yhteensä vähintään 500 kuutiometriä. Maksetun bonuksen määrä riippuu jäsentasosta ja myydystä puumäärästä: mitä enemmän puuta myy, sitä enemmän bonusta kertyy.

Metsänhoitopalveluiden bonus lasketaan prosentteina laskun loppusummasta. Bonus on 1–4 prosenttia jäsentasosta riippuen.

Bonukset maksetaan omalle erilliselle bonustilille, josta sen voi tulouttaa seuraavan puukaupan yhteydessä tai käyttää esimerkiksi metsänhoitotöiden maksuun. Bonuksilla maksetuista metsänhoitotöistä kertyy uutta bonusta.

Jos omistajajäsen myy puuta neljän vuoden aikana yhteensä esimerkiksi 1 500–2 500 kuutiometriä, hänelle maksetaan seuraavan puukaupan yhteydessä bonusta 40 senttiä jokaisesta puukuutiometristä. Saman määrän myyneelle metsäomaisuuden hoitosopimuksen tehneelle omistajajäsenelle kertyy jokaiselle puukuutiolle yksi euro lisähintaa.

Metsäliitto Osuuskunnan jäseneksi voi liittyä, jos omistaa Suomessa vähintään kolme hehtaaria metsämaata. Liittymisestä viiden vuoden kuluessa on maksettava perusosuus, jolle osuuskunta maksaa korkoa. Korko on viime vuosina ollut 5,5 prosenttia.

Vuonna 2014 Metsäliitto Osuuskunnan jäsenille maksettiin euromääräisiä jäsenetuja yli 50 miljoonaa euroa, mikä vastaa keskimäärin noin 4,5 euroa jokaista jäseneltä ostettua puukuutiometriä kohti. Bonusjärjestelmän uudistuksen jälkeen jäsenedut kasvavat parhaimmillaan 7–8 euroon jäseniltä ostettua puukuutiometriä kohden.
