Joutsenon tehdas on valittu Metsä Fibren vuoden 2014 turvallisimmaksi yksiköksi neljän sellutehtaan joukosta. Joutsenon tehtaalla työskenneltiin koko viime vuosi ilman poissaoloon johtaneita tapaturmia omalle henkilöstölle.
