Karjalaiset kudontaviikot on kaikille avoin, elämyksellinen tapahtuma. Aiempaa kokemusta kudonnasta ei tarvitse olla, alan ammattilaiset ohjaavat työskentelyä. Viikon aikana voi kokeilla erilaisia kudontatekniikoita, kuten karjalaista pitsi- tai punapoimintaa, räsymattoa ja pop- panaa. Kudonnan ohjaus on suomen-, englannin tai ja- paninkielellä.
Kudontaviikko toteutetaan Taitokorttelin idyllisessä ku- dontasalissa Joensuun kaupungin sydämessä. Työsken- telyaika on maanantaista perjantaihin klo 10–16. Majoitus on yhden hengen huoneessa Green Star -hotellissa, joka sijaitsee Taitokorttelin vieressä. Iltaisin Joensuu tarjoaa teks- tiililomalaisille monia vapaa-ajan aktiviteetteja.
Hinta 850 euroa (sis. alv) sisältää:
• viisi kudontapäivää (ma-pe)
• ohjauksen ja työskentelymateriaalit*
• lounaat ja kahvit Kauppaneuvoksen kahvilassa (ma-pe)
• majoituksen aamiaisella (su-la) yhden hengen huoneessa • sisäänpääsy Carelicumiin ja Joensuun Taidemuseoon
